First place 2011 ARDA award solar house plan by James H. Klippel

Award winning residential architecture designer, Jim Klippel wins another first place in the international ARDA  home plan design competition.  Jims' passive solar house plan impressed the judges by using mostly local cypress wood, weathered granite, and glass, all factors for a LEED certified design . The Earth bermed house plan integrates into the designed living the principles of Organic architecture, which uplifts the spirit  and artisticly reconnects ones' senses to the beauty of nature.
