Welcome to the world of our virtual art studios. Both artists James H. Klippel and Christine P. Canova are residents of TRAC, The Tannery Row Artist Colony, in Historic Buford, Georgia. The old brick building dates to the 1860s and was constructed by the Bona Allens as one to the largest leather tannerys in the nation, producing shoes, saddles and other leather goods . In addition two our individual working studios where you may view artists at work, we have collectively, a gallery open free to the general public which show the groups pieces of fine art. The TRAC group also hosts three to four receptions a year with live music, food, wines and beverages. www.tanneryrowartistcolony.com. Both artists contribute both teaching time and art peices for various local an national not for profit causes, aiding children, animals, well being, and the Earth.
Both Chris and Jim also, paint , plen air, in various areas of the country, usually in park settings. Chris keeps an ongoing inventory of signed art prints and art cards of sold works. Cost avalible upon request.
