The theme to the Tannery show in October is Music in Me where the artists will interpret a favorite piece of music in a square format. I chose Dancing in the Dark because I love the beat and it makes me want to dance. It has such an upbeat tempo. The painting is 24 x 24 framed and is acrylic on rice paper. If you keep looking at the images, your eye will see them turn from front to back and front again. Enjoy!
Jim and I occassionally go back over older paintings. We added thickness and texture to the dolphins to give them a life of their own. It is as if the dolphins are dancing.
Jim and I are creating new pieces for the Georgia Aquarium Aqua Vino's silent auction. Go to www.georgiaaquarium.com for details about the Aqua Vino 2010 in October.

It is official! I am a published author/illustrator and Jim is a published illustrator! Our children's ABC adventure book, ;"What Happened That Day?" is published and available at www.faithbooksandmore.com. It is designed with detailed illustrations that incorporate the featured letter in the image. It engages the child to seek and identify stylized letters as well as standard font.
